KENORA, ONTARIO ~~~ July 12, 2020 (LSN) Yesterday, Saturday July 11,2020 the hardworking Treaty Three Police arrested a 40 year old JOSEPHINE PAYPOMPEE for aggravated assault after a man was wounded.
Treaty Three Police held PAYPOMPEE overnight and she appeared in a Thunder Bay Bail Court today.
She’s facing an aggravated assault charge for wounding an adult male.
PAYPOMPEE has a history of violence towards the same male.
She appeared in Thunder Bay Bail Court today, Sunday, July 12, 2020 by audio from the Treaty Three Police Station in Kenora.
Provincial Crown Attorney Heather Bracken would not consent to the release of PAYPOMPEE due to her history of violence.
PAYPOMPEE was transported to the Kenora Jail and will make another court appearance on Monday.
