TBay Police report Missing Women


THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO   ~~~~~~~~  May 6, 2021  (LSN)   The Director of Communications at TBPS has told the public yesterday, Wednesday May 5,2021 about a 23 year old KATINA FIDDLER being missing. She is described as an Indigenous female, 5’2” tall with a medium build. She has black long hair and brown eyes. Unknown last clothing descriptors. KATINA FIDDLER was last seen in the area of Oliver Road in the morning hours of May 5, 2021.


As per usual practice, the Director puts out very little details and has almost no consideration for public safety. 

KATINA FIDDLER was arrested on a April 15,2021 for assault with a weapon and released with conditions. 

On April 18,2021 a warrant was issued for the arrest of FIDDLER by TBPS for breaching her release conditions, but  the Director of Communications at TBPS never told the public that she was wanted.  

On April 20, FIDDLER was arrested by TBPS and received 2 extra criminal charges for violating her curfew of 8pm to 6am and going to the address of her victim in the 100 block of Kenogami Ave to kick and bang on the door.  

KATINA FIDDLER was released from the Thunder Bay Correctional Center on April 23, 2021 on a bail release order to stay at the John Howard Society on Syndicate Ave. 

FIDDLER has a history of violence and breaching court orders, but the Director of Communications at TBPS never told the public this.  

A bench warrant was issued on May 5, 2021, for her arrest for breaching her release conditions again.  The same day as the Police are reporting her missing 

The Director of Communications at TBPS will not use her mug shot photo they have on file. 

The Director of Communications at TBPS receives in excess of 140 000 taxpayer dollars annually and is unable to tell the public about a violent, wanted person.
