FORT FRANCES, ONTARIO ~~~~~~ June 13, 2021 (LSN) Hardworking Fort Frances OPP responded quickly last night, Saturday June 12,2021 when the Northwoods Gallery & Gift shop located at 273 Scott Street was broken into. Some items were stolen, but it didn’t take long for an arrest to get made.
A 26 year old BRETT TUESDAY from the Couchiching 16A Indian Reserve was criminally charged with:
- -break, enter & theft
- -breach of release order
TUESDAY has several criminal charges outstanding including drug charges and uttering counterfeit money.
TUESDAY spent the night at the OPP detachment and appeared by phone today, Sunday June 13,2021 in Thunder Bay Bail Court before Her Worship, Justice of the Peace Sheree Scribner.
Provincial Crown Attorney Tiffany Boisvert is very concerned that TUESDAY will reoffend if released. She is not consenting to his release. TUESDAY is remanded into custody and has another court appearance this week.
