WANTED WESTFORT SHOOTER ARRESTED BY HARDWORKING TBPS OFFICERS

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO   ~~~~~~   June 19, 2021  (LSN)  A man wanted by Thunder Bay Police Officers for over 6 weeks has been arrested by hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers.

TBPS Officers arrested BANNON this morning Friday June 18,2021.

It is alleged that on Saturday May 1, 2021 at around 9:30pm that a now 25 year old ROBERT BANNON was driving a light grey SUV in the 500 block of Gore Street West and fired a .410 shotgun blast towards local criminal FRANCIS VALLE. It’s alleged that he missed VALLE and struck a patio door.

BANNON has been wanted since May 7,2021. The Director of Communications at TBPS actually did a bit of work and notified the public that he was wanted, but the Director failed to mention anything about the arrest.

ROBERT BANNON was held at Balmoral Police Station and appeared by video in Bail Court this morning before Her Worship, Justice of the Peace Jennifer Neil.

BANNON has 7 criminal charges:

  • -unauthorized possession of a .410 shotgun firearm in motor vehicle
  • -possess .410 shotgun firearm with no license
  • -careless use of firearm
  • -carry firearm dangerous to public peace
  • -possession of firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
  • -discharging firearm with intent to wound, maim or disfigure, endangering life
  • -mischief (shooting patio door window)

Provincial Crown Attorney Natasha Jerome would not consent to the release of BANNON. He was transported to the Thunder Bay Jail and has another court appearance next week.

Strangely enough, FRANCIS VALLE is also in the Thunder Bay Jail. It should be an interesting reunion between both of them.

The lazy Director of Communications at TBPS did not update that BANNON was arrested. Lazy Leith at TBLAZYWATCH was also notified but found it to be too much work to tell the public.
