TBPS OFFICERS BUST TORONTO DRUG DEALER ON BAIL

HAD CONDITIONS TO NOT BE IN THUNDER BAY

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~~  September 19, 2021  (LSNews)  Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers spotted a familiar black drug dealer from Mississauga on Friday September 17,2021

Officers knew he was on bail with conditions to not be in Thunder Bay. While being questioned, the suspect gave police a false name. Upon being arrested, a quantity of percocets & cash was found in his possession.

DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS AT TBPS NOT TELLING THE PUBLIC AGAIN.

A 25 year old THOK GATTUOR of Mississauga was criminally charged with:

-breach of release order (being in Thunder Bay)

-proceeds of crime under $5000

-trafficking percocets

-obstruct police by providing false name

GATTUOR spent the night in custody at Balmoral Police Station and appeared in Bail Court on Saturday September 18,2021 before Her Worship, Justice of the Peace Denette Ellard.

Federal Crown Attorney Misbah Haque has concerns with this drug dealer in Thunder Bay again. He would not consent to GATTUOR’S release.

He was transported to the Thunder Bay Jail and has another court appearance on Monday.

As per usual practice, the TBPS media relations coordinator Scott Paradis is not telling the public again. His buddies at TBLAZYWATCH also say nothing.

They won’t even show pictures of these poison peddlers to the public.

TBPS OFFICER HAS GUN GRABBED BY DRUG DEALER

Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Franklin Street South on Wednesday December 9,2021 after 10:30pm.

Upon entry, Officers spotted a black male attempting to flush drugs down the toilet.

The drug flusher then attacked Officers trying to grab one Officer’s gun.

He was arrested, along with four others.

TBPS Officers seized a loaded shotgun, cocaine & cash.

A 24 year old THOK GATTUOR, of Mississauga, is criminally charged with:

  • -Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • -Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • -Careless Storage of a Firearm
  • -Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
  • -Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm Without a Licence
  • -Prohibited or Restricted Firearm With Ammunition
  • -Disarming a Peace Officer
  • -Obstruct Peace Officer
  • -Resist Peace Officer

A 39 year old CANDACE DELPHINE BOTTLE of Thunder Bay is charged with:

  • -Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • -Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • -Careless Storage of a Firearm
  • -Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
  • -Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm Without a Licence
  • -Prohibited or Restricted Firearm With Ammunition
  • -Possession of Firearm/ Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order

A 45 year old KEVIN JAMES CAMELIAN JOHNSON of Thunder Bay is criminally charged with:

  • -Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • -Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • -Careless Storage of a Firearm
  • -Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
  • -Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm Without a Licence
  • -Prohibited or Restricted Firearm With Ammunition

A 54 year old LORI MYRTLE KENNEDY of Thunder Bay is criminally charged with:

  • -Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • -Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • -Careless Storage of a Firearm
  • -Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
  • -Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm Without a Licence
  • -Prohibited or Restricted Firearm With Ammunition

A 42 year old ANDREW JOSEPH THOMPSON of Thunder Bay is criminally charged with:

  • -Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • -Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • -Careless Storage of a Firearm
  • -Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
  • -Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm Without a Licence
  • -Prohibited or Restricted Firearm With Ammunition
  • -Possession of Firearm/ Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
  • -Failure to Comply with Judicial Release

Thunder Bay maintained its title as the murder capital of Canada in 2018,  For the third consecutive year - and the fourth time in the last five years

 It has been announced again that Thunder Bay is the Murder Capital of Canada for 2018 in Canada for CMAs with populations between 100,000 to less than 500,000 people

Thunder Bay had the highest rate in that category with 6.38 homicides per 100,000.

It’s made Thunder Bay the highest per capita opioid death rate in Ontario.

The 44 deaths were a 40 per cent increase from 2017, a year in which Thunder Bay also held the highest provincial rate.

Between July 2017 and June 2018, nearly 3,900 naloxone kits were handed out by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit and local pharmacies,
