Man arrested for Home Invasion Near Vickers Park

THUNDER BAY,, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  July 11, 2020  (LSN)  On the evening of July 6, 2020 a couple was sleeping in their home in the 300 block of Brunswick Avenue when a criminal broke into their home to steal their property. Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers responded to investigate and identified their primary suspect to be 32-year old ALBERT JOHN WILLIAMS.

Public No Warned!
It appears s part of the new role of the Police Department directed by City Council and the Police Service Board, they do not tell the public.  There appears to be a movement away from the officers fighting crime.. To do this they need to prevent  the citizens of Thunder Bay from becoming aware of  most crimes

Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers responded to investigate and identified their primary suspect to be 32 year old ALBERT JOHN WILLIAMS.

Last night, Friday, July 10, 2020 hardworking Thunder Bay Police caught up with WILLIAMS and slapped some shiney silver bracelets on him.

WILLIAMS spent the night in a jail cell at the Thunder Bay Police Station and appeared in Bail Court before Justice of the Peace Zelda Kitchekeesic this morning Saturday, July 11, 2020.

ALBERT JOHN WILLIAMS is criminally charged with:

  • -break & enter to commit theft
  • -breaching his probation order of December 10, 2019

WILLIAMS has a lengthy criminal record and Provincial Crown Attorney Katrina Van Kessel is not consenting to his release.

WILLIAMS will be transported to the Thunder Bay Jail at 2pm today. He has a court appearance on Monday July 12,2020

Murders Thunder Bay vs other Ontario Cities

Thunder Bay maintained its title as the murder capital of Canada in 2018,  For the third consecutive year - and the fourth time in the last five years

 It has been announced again that Thunder Bay is the Murder Capital of Canada for 2018 in Canada for CMAs with populations between 100,000 to less than 500,000 people

It’s made Thunder Bay the highest per capita opioid death rate in Ontario.

The 44 deaths were a 40 per cent increase from 2017, a year in which Thunder Bay also held the highest provincial rate.

Between July 2017 and June 2018, nearly 3,900 naloxone kits were handed out by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit and local pharmacies,
