Sudden Death | Thunder Bay 2019



THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~~~~ May 5, 2021 (LSN)  Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers executed a search warrant yesterday, Tuesday May 4,2021

TBPS Officers arrested 4 people. When they entered the living room, they found Toronto Drug dealer KAIJUON MORGAN-MONCRIEFFE sitting with RAVEN SPADE. Officers located a bag nearby with a loaded 9mm handgun and an illegal 50 round magazine.

The gun and magazine was seized, along with 384.5 grams of cocaine and 69.5 grams of crack cocaine and in excess of $5000 in cash.

All 4 people arrested were criminally charged and held overnight at the Balmoral Police Station. They all appeared by video this morning, Wednesday May 5,2021 before Her Worship, Justice of the Peace Denette Ellard.

The following people were criminally charged

  • -21 year old KAIJUON MORGAN-MONCRIEFFE of Toronto
  • -29 year old COLLIN RAMSAY
  • -28 year old RAVEN DAWN SPADE
  • -18 year old JULIA MADISON ADAMS

All are charged with:

  • -criminal proceeds exceeding $5000
  • -possession of cocaine for purpose of trafficking
  • -possession of a loaded and prohibited handgun
  • -careless storage of handgun
  • -possess handgun without a license

RAVEN DAWN SPADE faces an extra charge of possession of ecstasy.

JULIA ADAMS swore a lot during her court appearance and wants to know when she will be released

It seems that none of them are aware of Justin Trudeau’s new gun restrictions

Federal Crown Attorney Arturo Acosta is not consenting to the release of any of these people.

They are all being held in custody

As per usual practice, the Director of Communications at TBPS haven’t told the public yet.

The Director receives in excess of 140 000 taxpayer dollars annually and does very little.

Murders Thunder Bay vs other Ontario Cities

Thunder Bay maintained its title as the murder capital of Canada in 2018,  For the third consecutive year - and the fourth time in the last five years

It’s made Thunder Bay the highest per capita opioid death rate in Ontario.

The 44 deaths were a 40 per cent increase from 2017, a year in which Thunder Bay also held the highest provincial rate.

Between July 2017 and June 2018, nearly 3,900 naloxone kits were handed out by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit and local pharmacies, 



Thunder Bay is that the homicide rate for 2017 is down from 2016 when it stood at 6.62 per 100,000

Greater Sudbury's murder rate is  remains one of the lowest in Canada. murder rate was 0.61 per 100,000 people
