WOMAN ASSAULTED DURING EAST END FORCIBLE ENTRY

500 block of McTavish Street

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO   ~~~~~~   August 1, 2021 (LSNews)  Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers responded yesterday, Saturday July 31,2021 to an East End home in the 500 block of McTavish Street after a man allegedly made a forcible entry into a home to assault & threaten a woman.

Officers arrived to investigate and identified a suspect.

A 32 year old ALEXANDER ABRUNZO was criminally charged with:

  • -assault
  • -utter threats to cause bodily harm
  • -forcible entry

He has a criminal record that is dated.

ABRUNZO was held overnight at Balmoral Police Station and appeared by phone in Bail Court today, Sunday August 1,2021 before Her Worship, Justice of the Peace Jennifer Neil where he received a $500 no deposit release order with conditions:

  • -stay away/no contact with victim
  • -no weapons

His next court appearance is in September
