WALMART ARTHUR STREET
THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~~ May 6, 2022 (LSNews) Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers responded to a violent robbery at the Walmart at 1101 Arthur Street West yesterday, Thursday, May 5,2022 shortly past 9:30 am.
TBPS MEDIA RELATIONS COORDINATOR SCOTT PARADIS ISN’T TELLING THE PUBLIC AGAIN
A man was allegedly stealing items in the store when security approached to ask him to stop. The man chose to pull a knife out and threaten security.
TBPS Officers responded and made the arrest. After further investigation, TBPS Officers learned the man had also stolen items from the nearby Dollarama. They also learned the man was on probation & wanted on a warrant, but TBPS Media Relations Coordinator Scott Paradis never told the public.
A 37 year old JAMES EDWARD WABOOSE was criminally charged with:
- -robbery
- -theft under $5000
- -breach of probation
WABOOSE has a very lengthy criminal record.
WABOOSE was held at the Balmoral Police Station overnight and transported to the Thunder Bay Jail this morning, Friday May 6,2022
WABOOSE has another court appearance on Tuesday May 10,2022
Sadly, TBPS Media Relations Coordinator Scott Paradis hasn’t told the public again.
Paradis doesn’t seem to think that he should let taxpayers know about robberies, thefts or wanted people to collect his taxpayer funded paycheck.
Paradis won’t tell the public, nor will he share pictures. He’s very lazy.
Scott Paradis has struggled for years to communicate with the public, just like his boss Chris Adams.
Both of them are former TBLAZYWATCH employees with no policing experience. They just collect taxpayer dollars to do almost nothing.
TBPS Police Chief Sylvie Hauth has been unable to effectively manage the communications department and she is currently under criminal investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police and is likely facing criminal charges later this year.
