Update LIMBRICK STREET MURDER OF LIAM SLIPPERJACK

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~~~  May 3, 2021  (LSN)  Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers have arrested a 17 year old A.M for the second degree murder of Liam Slipperjack.

A.M. spent the night in custody at Balmoral Police Station and appeared by audio in Thunder Bay Bail Court this morning, Monday May 3,2021 before Her Worship, Justice of the Peace Denette Ellard,

Her Worship has NO authority to release A.M.

This youth turns 18 years old later this month and cannot be identified as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

He will need to appear before a Superior Court Judge. He has another court appearance on May 13,2021

An 18 year old DESMOND KEEWAYKAPOW is also being charged with second degree murder of Liam Slipperjack. He remains in custody, and has been remanded to May 10,2021

The Director of Communications at TBPS has not told the public about this murder yet.

ARREST MADE IN VIOLENT NORTHWOOD ASSAULT

VULNERABLE INDIGENOUS VICTIM REQUIRED BRAIN SURGERY

DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS AT TBPS NOT TELLING THE PUBLIC AGAIN

ONE ACCUSED YOUTH STILL WANTED

Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers were called to the Limbrick Street & Redwood Avenue area just before 3am on Friday April 30,2021 regarding a male who had been seriously injured.

Hardworking Officers responded quickly arrived they located a vulnerable indigenous adult male who had sustained serious injuries. His injuries are believed to be the result of a violent 2 on 1 attack.

The victim was transported to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for further evaluation and required emergency brain surgery to relieve the swelling. He is expected to survive.

The Major Crimes Unit investigated and arrested one 18 year old suspect last night, Friday April 30,2021.

An 18 year old DESMOND JARRELL KEEWAYKAPOW was arrested and criminally charged with:

-aggravated assault

-breach of release order (drinking alcohol).

KEEWAYKAPOW has outstanding criminal charges of assault with a weapon.

KEEWAYKAPOW was held overnight at Balmoral Police Station and appeared by video in Thunder Bay Bail Court today, Saturday May 1,2021 before Her Worship, Justice of the Peace Denette Ellard.

Crown Attorney Rebecca Senior would not consent to the release of KEEWAYKAPOW. He will be remanded into custody at Thunder Bay Jail and has another court appearance on Monday. He is ordered not to contact his coaccused, a 17 year old male A.M. who remains at large.

As per usual practice, the Director Of Communications at TBPS and his local taxpayer subsidized media buddies at TBLAZYWATCH or CBC haven’t told the public about the arrest or the violent male teen on the loose. These incredibly useless people just don’t know how to do their jobs.

Police Chief Sylvie Hauth, Mayor Bill Mauro and the Police Services Board just don’t seem to care when vulnerable people are violently attacked in our city.

Just another day in Councillor Shelby Ch’ng’s neighborhood
