Brigg’s Drive in Conmee Township

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~  November 24, 2021 (LSNews) Hardworking Thunder Bay OPP Officers received a complaint about a 2009 Toyota Venza parked for 5 hours on Brigg’s Drive in Conmee Township yesterday, Tuesday November 23,2021

As Officers pulled up to the vehicle, the driver of the Toyota tried to drive away and moved approximately 20 feet.

Officers exited their vehicle to approach and spotted numerous syringes and drug paraphernalia in the Toyota.

The driver had just finished shooting up fentanyl and had blood leaking out of his arm from the injection site.

A woman named Jamie was in the passenger seat.

Officers learned the driver was wanted on a warrant out of Red Lake, Ontario.

The driver was unsteady on his feet and had difficulty focusing.

He had 2 loaded fentanyl needles in his pocket.
