TBPS OFFICERS ARREST TWO FOR MULTIPLE STABBINGS

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~~  November 2. 2020  (LSN)  Yesterday afternoon, Sunday November 1, 2020, a real concerned citizen phoned 911 just before after they saw two injured males who appeared to be injured and covered in blood. They were walking near Riverview Drive. A hardworking off-duty TBPS officer also observed these blood covered males enter a Limbrick Street apartment.

When police arrived they learned the two males were not injured, and the blood observed came from two other males who were at an unknown location.

Hardworking TBPS Officers began a search which included the K-9 Unit

Two adult male victims were located in the 500 block of Riverview Drive near the Neebing River.

Both male victims were transported to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for treatment of their stab wounds.

A 25 year old LOYAL ABLE MCKAY was criminally charged with:

  • -assault
  • -unlawful confinement
  • -aggravated assault X 2

A 22 year old ALBERT SAINNAWAP was criminally charged with:

  • -assault with a weapon (knife)
  • -aggravated assault X 2
  • -breach of his January 17,2019 probation order.

Both men spent the evening in holding cells at the Balmoral Police Station.

Both men appeared by audio in Thunder Bay Bail Court this morning before Her Worship, Justice of the Peace Zelda Kitchekeesic.

Provincial Crown Attorney Natasha Jerome would not consent to the release of either man.

MCKAY needs to contact his lawyer George Joseph who is busy in the Brayden Bushby trial. He is remanded to November 9,2020

SAINNAWAP will contact his Winnipeg lawyer and he is remanded to November 4,2020

Both men were transported to the Thunder Bay Jail around noon today

Sources indicate that Dumb Doug & Lazy Leith at TBLAZYWATCH were notified, but still too busy with their soy and tofu to do any work.
