TBPS ARREST WANTED BMW THIEF ON BAIL
THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~~~ June 12, 2022 (LSNews) Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers received a call from Leon Giardino yesterday, Saturday June 11,2022 after his silver BMW was stolen.
TBPS Officers located the stolen silver BMW and conducted a traffic stop when the white male thief exited the vehicle to run.
The thieving meth head was unable to out run TBPS Officers and got arrested.
Officers learned the thief was wanted on warrants for failing to attend court on outstanding charges of assault on Nipigon meth head SERENA MICKELSON. He was also on probation & bail with conditions to be residing at 118 5th Street in Nipigon.
A 27 year old NICHOLAS CHARLES SOOS was criminally charged with:
- -theft of motor vehicle
- -possession of stolen property
- -resist TBPS Officer by running
- -breach of probation (reside in Nipigon)
SOOS has a lengthy criminal history and was held overnight at Balmoral Police Station. He was transported to the Thunder Bay Jail today, Sunday June 12,2022.
SOOS has another court appearance on Monday June 13,2022
TBPS Media Relations Coordinator Scott Paradis failed to tell the public about the warrants or the arrest.
