Roads Crews Busy Water Conditions Change Allow for Roads to Reopen Around the Rainy Lake Basin
KOOCHICHING COUNTY, MINNESOTA ~~~~~ July 5, 2022 (LSNews) As water conditions change, roads crews are able to reopen previously flooded roads around International Falls and the Rainy River Basin. The following roads opened this afternoon in Koochiching County:
- · County Road 135
- · County Road 136
- · Unorganized Township (UT) 225
- · UT 269
- · UT 376
- · UT 408
- · UT 413
- · UT 446
County Road 112 will open Tuesday, July 6, at 3:30 pm.
Aggregate lifts placed on County Roads will be removed starting Monday, July 11. It is anticipated that removal will take approximately two weeks. Motorists are encouraged to travel at slow speeds, have patience and travel with heightened awareness.
The following roads will remain closed until further notice:

- · County Road 461
