RANKIN STREET DRUG HOUSE BUSTED

RANKIN STREET DRUG HOUSE BUSTED

TWO DEALERS TRIED FLUSHING DRUGS DOWN TOILET

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  May 12, 2022 (LSNews)  Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers executed another drug bust on Rankin Street yesterday, Wednesday May 11, 2022

Officers entered the trap house and found several dealers.

TBPS MEDIA RELATIONS COORDINATOR SCOTT PARADIS NOT TELLING THE PUBLIC AGAIN

Two black males from Toronto was found hovering over toilet with drugs and trying to flush them.

A quantity of fentanyl, cocaine, cash, digital scales, drug paraphernalia and cell phones were seized.

Several junkies were cut loose by TBPS Officers as they arrested the dealers.

A 76 year old white male DEAN WILLIAM DOUGLAS of Thunder Bay was criminally charged with:

  • -possession of fentanyl for purpose of trafficking
  • -possession of cocaine for purpose of trafficking
  • -possession of proceeds of crime

DOUGLAS has astounding criminal charge of mischief.

DOUGLAS told the court that all the charges were “ridiculous”

A 19 year old black male KELVIN AWUKU-WELBECK of Toronto was criminally charged with:

  • -possession of fentanyl for purpose of trafficking
  • -possession of cocaine for purpose of trafficking
  • -possession of proceeds of crime

A 20 year old black male NAN OPUKU-SARKODIE of Toronto was criminally charged with:

  • -possession of fentanyl for purpose of trafficking
  • -possession of cocaine for purpose of trafficking
  • -possession of proceeds of crime
  • -obstruct police by trying to flush drugs

  • -possession of fentanyl for purpose of trafficking
  • -possession of cocaine for purpose of trafficking
  • -possession of proceeds of crime
  • -obstruct police by trying to flush drugs down toilet

All were held the rest of the morning at Balmoral Police Station and transported to the Thunder Bay Jail this morning, Thursday May 12,2022

Anyone with more information or pictures on this drug bust is encouraged to message our page.

Sadly, TBPS Media Relations Coordinator Scott Paradis has failed to tell the public again.

TBPS Media Relations Coordinator Scott Paradis & his boss, Director of Communications Chris Adams have repeatedly ignored their job duties and put public safety at risk.

They won’t even tell the public about most drug busts.

Nor will he show pictures of drug dealers to the public.

TBPS Police Chief Sylvie Hauth permits this laziness & incompetence to occur. Her leadership at TBPS is currently under criminal investigation by the OPP. Having two former TBLAZYWATCH employees working in communications at TBPS has been a disaster for years.
