TBay Courthouse / Saturday, June 25, 2022 / Categories: Crime POPLAR HILL STABBING SUSPECT ARRESTED KENORA, POPULAR HILL ~~~~ June 25, 2022 (LSNews) Hardworking Nishnawbe Aski Police Officers on the Poplar Hill Reserve responded to a call of knife violence yesterday, Friday June 24,2022. Officers quickly learned that a male band member, DELBERT STRANG had been stabbed with a knife and a female had been threatened with a knife. DELBERT STRANG required immediate medical attention for his wounds. He was medivacced out of Poplar Hill early this morning. A male suspect was arrested by NAPS Officers. ANDREW STRANG of Poplar Hill was criminally charged with: -aggravated assault (wounding Delbert Strang) -carry weapon for purpose dangerous to public x 2 -threaten Kristen Strang with knife -breach of release order X 2 (no weapons) ANDREW STRANG of Poplar Hill has several outstanding criminal charges of violence.
