THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~ June 26, 2020 (LSN) Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers have arrested 25 year old LARISSA MARY JACOB again. She was just released from jail last month.
Officers were called to the 200 block of Cumming Street just after 9 pm on Thursday, June 25 2020 for a stabbing assault.
Officers located a male victim, who appeared to have non-life-threatening injuries sustained during a recent assault involving a knife. Hardworking Paramedics transported the victim to the Thunder Bay Hospital.
An investigation led officers to identify and locate a suspect.
Police arrested a female accused and transported her to the Thunder Bay Police Station. She spent all night in a jail cell.
LARISSA MARY JACOB is charged with:
- -Assault with a Weapon
- -Failure to Comply with a Judicial Release
- -Breach of Probation.
She appeared by video in Thunder Bail Court today, Friday, June 26 2020.
The Provincial Crown Attorney did not consent to her release.
JACOB was transported to the Thunder Bay Correctional Center shortly after noon today.
Her next court appearance is Tuesday June 30,2020.

Appearing by audio today, Wednesday May 13,2020 from the Thunder Bay Correctional Center is 25 year old LARISSA JACOB.
His Honour, Justice Frank Valente is presiding by phone. Crown Attorney Derrick Silvestro is on the phone along with the always amicable veteran defence lawyer Tyler Woods.
JACOB is pleading guilty to 2 counts of assault
ADMITTED FACTS
On August 12,2019 hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers were called to 122 Cumberland Street South after a man in a wheelchair was violently attacked. LARISSA MARY JACOB had accused her father of “talking shit about her” before she started striking him and pushing him out if his wheelchair. She then threw a walker at him while he lay on the floor. JACOB was arrested and charged.
JACOB was released from custody on August 19,2019 to reside at John Howard Bail Supervision on Syndicate Avenue.
On April 18,2020, Thunder Bay Police Officers were called to the Walmart parking lot on Arthur Street in response to another assault. LARISSA MARY JACOB & JEFFREY WHITEHEAD had thrown an indigenous man to the ground, then began punching and kicking him. Police arrested them both.
SENTENCING
JACOB has spent an actual 24 days in jail which is enhanced to 36 days. The joint submission is for an 18 month suspended sentence/probation. JACOB was released from the Correctional Center today and will resume her life on welfare.
She received a 5 year weapons ban and anger management counselling is ordered.

As per usual practice, the Director Of Communications at TBPS never notified the public about this arrest. doesn’t care to let the people who pay his salary know about violent offenders.
