LONGLAC JUNKIE ARRESTED FOR BREAK & ENTERS

101 Kenogami Drive

GREENSTONE, ONTARIO  ~~~~~   July 1, 2022 (LSNews)  Hardworking Greenstone OPP Officers responded to call regarding a trio of break & enters at an apartment building at 101 Kenogami Drive yesterday, Thursday June 30,2022.

Officers arrived quickly and learned that three apartments, # 1, #2 & #12  had been broken into. 

OPP located a white female suspect with a lengthy history of break & enters, along with thefts.

A 29 year old KATHLEEN STEPHENSON was criminally charged with:

  • -break & enter X 3

STEHPHENSON was held overnight at Greenstone Opp detachment and made a court appearance today, Friday July 1,2022 before Justice of the Peace Jennifer Neil.

STEPHENSON is hoping to get released so she can attend drug treatment on July 6,2022 and see her young child.  STEPHENSON has her 30th birthday on July 5,2022

STPEHENSON is being transported to the Thunder Bay Correctional Center and has another court appearnce next week.

December 27,2021

GREENSTONE OPP ARREST LOCAL CRIMINAL AGAIN 

Hardworking Greemstone OPP Officers received a call yesterday, Sunday December 26,2021 about a local criminal who is on a Conditional Sentence Order & probation who had needles and crystal meth.  

Officers believe she has been injecting crystal methamphetamine. 

Officers investigated and located 29 year old KATHLEEN STEPHENSON. A subsequent search found needles and empty bags of crystal meth. 

STEPHENSON has outstanding criminal charges and is on a Conditional Sentence Order. 

STEPHENSON was criminally charged with:

  • -breach of probation X 2
  • -breach of release order

STEPHENSON is being transported to the Thunder Bay Correctional Center and has another court appearance on December 30,2021

November 29,2021

THIEVING LONGLAC JUNKIE RELEASED ON BAIL AGAIN 

A 29 year old KATHLEEN STEPHENSON was released from custody at the Thunder Bay Correctional Center today, Monday November 29, 2021 on a $500 no deposit bail with conditions:

  • -no contact with victims
  • -report change of address to OPP 

Her other bail release remains in effect, along with her Conditional Sentence Order. 

STEPHENSON has another court date in Longlac on January 12,2021

Saturday November 27,2021

WANTED LONGLAC WOMAN ARRESTED AGAIN

Hardworking Greenstone OPP Officers have arrested a local criminal again.  

Officers made the arrest yesterday, Friday November 26,2021

A 29 year KATHLEEN STEPHENSON was on an 8 month Conditional Sentence Order, but is accused of breaching her curfew a few times. 

STEPHENSON has 2 outstanding theft charges and is getting new charges of:

  • -break & enter at a home in the 100 block of Lakeview Drive 

It’s alleged that STEPHENSON stole over $5000 in tools 

STEPHENSON spent the night in custody at the OPP detachment and was transported to the Thunder Bay Correctional Center today, Saturday November 27, 2021

STEPHENSON tells the court she wants to go for drug treatment next week. 

She’ll have another chance to detox behind bars
