OPP Downtown Sioux Lookout

SIOUX LOOKOUT, ONTARIO  ~~ March 25, 2020  (LSN)  Members of the Sioux Lookout Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a string of graffiti tagging incidents that have occurred in the Municipality over the past three days.

Public and private buildings and infrastructure in the downtown area, Third Avenue North, and Fifth Avenue North, have been vandalized with black and/or orange spray paint. Police are looking to speak with an individual wearing a red hoodie and black pants who was in the downtown area around 10:00 pm on March 24, 2020,

The OPP is requesting anyone with information about these occurrences contact the Sioux Lookout Detachment at 807-737-2020 or 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
