Sudden Death Junot Park
THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~~ June 13, 2020 (LSNews) In a media release the Thunder Bay Police stated The Thunder Bay Police Service continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding a sudden death at Junot Park area.
On Wednesday June 8, 2022 just after 7:30 a.m. police were dispatched to a call for assistance in the area of Junot Park.
A deceased person was located.
On Saturday June 11, 2022 the post-mortem examination of the deceased was concluded in Toronto.
Police maintained a scene in the Junot Park area for several days. That scene has since been released and the park is now accessible to the public.
Investigators with the Major Crime Unit are still actively looking for anyone who was in the area of Junot Park on Tuesday June 7, 2022 and June 8, 2022.
Over the weekend three police units guard the area
- two on Junot
- one of Red River Road near the expressway

For some reason, the Police are not referring to this Sudden Death as a Suicide or a Homicide
Until there is clarification form the Police PR Department we are listing it on Sudden Death Homicide Map
