THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO September 4, 2020 (LSN) Last night, hardworking Thunder Bay Police arrested 2 people for second degree murder of local criminal CHRISTOPHER MEESEETAWAGESIC.
A 31 year old NATALIE ROSEANNE MOONIAS is criminally charged with:
- -Second Degree Murder
- -Breach of Probation x 2.
A 29 year old KENNETH LAYTON MOONIAS is criminally charged with:
- -Second Degree Murder
- -Breach of Probation x 2. September 24,2019 order
They both spent the night at the Balmoral Police Station and appeared by video before His Worship, Justice of the Peace Marcel Donio today, Friday September 4,2020
Murder is a presumptive detention order and both cannot be released.
They are both detained in custody and ordered not to contact each other or Sheyenne Achkneepineskum
They have future court dates next Friday.

VIOLENT CRIMINAL MURDERED
Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers are busy investigating the murder of a violent criminal.
TBPS Officers were called to the 400 block of Main Street just on Sunday, August 30,2020 shortly after 10:10 am after a passerby called 911 about a possible body in the area.
Hardworking Officers arrived quickly and located the body of a deceased male, who has since been identified as 31 year old CHRISTOPHER DAVID MEESEETAWAGEESIC.
He has a very violent history in Thunder Bay

November 15,2017
TWO OFFICERS INJURED DURING ARREST.
SUSPECT HAS LENGTHY CRIMINAL RECORD OF VIOLENCE.
On November 14, 2017, patrol officers were dispatched to the Real Canadian Superstore just before 11:00 p.m., for a male being assaultive with staff and after being asked to leave the business.
A few minutes' later officers found the male matching the description at the Wendy's Restaurant parking lot and approached him to caution him about his earlier actions.
The male became aggressive and assaultive toward the officers.
He was eventually taken into custody with the assistance of other officers.
Two officers were injured during this altercation but did not require medical attention.
A 28 year old CHRISTOPHER DAVID MEESEETAWAGEESIC appeared in court today and was remanded in custody at the Thunder Bay Jail.
- -Assault
- -Mischief
- -2 counts of Assaulting a Peace Officer
- -Breach of Probation
CHRISTOPHER DAVID MEESEETAWAGEESIC was previously charged with 2nd degree murder in the July 18,2014 homicide of 44 year old Lloyd Oskineegish in a wooded area off Field Street. The victim was burned after he was killed. Others were charged and convicted. CHRISTOPHER MEESEETAWAGEESIC had his 2nd degree murder charge withdrawn during the preliminary hearing in August 2015.

INTERCITY ROCK ATTACK
Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers arrested and charged two suspects connected to a Wednesday afternoon assault.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers were dispatched to an area in the 900 block of Fort William Road just before 2:30 p.m. following reports of an assault that had just occurred there.
Police learned a small group was gathered in the area when one female attacked another female. During this attack the victim was struck with a rock. A second accused also assaulted the victim during this altercation.
As a result of their investigation, police located and arrested the two accused individuals. The victim and two accused were known to each other.
The two accused were arrested and transported to the Thunder Bay Police Service headquarters at about 3 pm.
A 31 year old NATALIE ROSEANNE MOONIAS is charged with:
-Assault with a Weapon
-Breach of Probation.
A 26 year old SARAH-JANE BRITTANY QUISSES is charged with:
-Assault with a Weapon.
Both appeared in bail court this morning Thursday, June 25 2020 before His Worship, Justice of the Peace Marcel Donio.
Provincial Crown Attorney Katrina Van Kessel did not consent to their release.
They were transported to the Thunder Bay Correctional Center.
