VIOLENT SEX OFFENDER RELEASED FROM THUNDER BAY JAIL ON CLERICAL ERROR

COMMITS ASSAULT ON INDIGENOUS WOMAN WHILE OUT

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  July 13, 2022 (LSNews)  Mistakes in the justice system, sometimes they happen. People are human.

About two weeks ago, a clerical error in paperwork caused a violent Sex Offender to be released from the Thunder Bay Jail.

hhhhhhhhhhhhhh

TBPS MEDIA RELATIONS COORDINATOR SCOTT PARADIS REFUSED TO TELL THE PUBLIC

Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers were notified of this error, but the public was never told by TBPS Director of Communications Chris Adams or TBPS Media Relations Coordinator Scott Paradis. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

The violent Sex Offender who has outstanding charges including a stabbing, assaulted an indigenous woman on July 2,2022. Another warrant was issued for his arrest and the public was never notified.

And then on Monday July 11,2022 the violent Sex Offender failed to attend court. A bench warrant was issued for his arrest, but TBPS Media Relations Coordinator Scott Paradis failed to tell the public again.

Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers captured and arrested the man wanted on warrants yesterday, Tuesday July 12,2022

A 49 year old RAYMOND MEEKIS of from Sandy Lake 88 Reserve was criminally charged with:

  • -aggravated assault
  • -assault
  • -breach of two different probation orders
  • -fail to attend court

MEEKIS was held overnight at Balmoral Police Station and transported to the Thunder Bay Jail today, Wednesday July 13,2022

MEEKIS has a court appearance on Friday July 15,2022

Editors Opinion:

TBPS Media Relations Coordinator Scott Paradis still won’t tell the public about this. It seems he doesn’t care much about the safety of women in our community.

Thunder Bay City Council is wasting a very large  undisclosed about of money on what they call an expert panel

  • Paying them to attend Public meetings that your family can not attend
  • Paying for their Hotel Rooms
  • Paying for their travel expenses
  • Paying for their Meals

And yet will not protect your family by warning you when a Sex Offender is loose in our community
Why are we wasting our tax money on a Police PR Boy a job that was in the past the responsibility and duty of the Police Chief who cared about our families
