TWO VICTIMS IN ICU AT THUNDER BAY HOSPITAL
GREENSTONE OPP MAKE ARRESTS IN GANG DOUBLE STABBING
GREENSTONE, GERALDTON, ONTARIO ~~~~~~ April 23, 2022 (LSNews) Hardworking Greenstone OPP Officers have made arrests yesterday, Friday April 22,2022 involving a home invasion double stabbing in Geraldton on the evening of Thursday April 21,2022.
It’s alleged that a conspiracy occurred with several individuals and several people broke into a home at 1318 Main Street in Geraldton and stabbed two men who were in the home. They also stole a cell phone.
The two men, Joel Dube & Thomas McAlpin were injured badly and required transport to the Intensive Care Unit at Thunder Bay Hospital.
Hardworking OPP Officers are investigating and have made several arrests. Dozens of criminal charges were laid.
A 16 year old male F.J. was criminally charged with:
- -aggravated assault X 2
- -assault with weapon (knife) X 2
- -break and enter
- -theft of cell phone while armed with knife
The youth has outstanding criminal charges and is on a Deferred Custody Order for other criminal convictions.
A 27 year old RIVER DAWN FISHER was criminally charged with:
- -conspiracy to commit assault
A 22 year old TIANNA TAYLOR ATLOOKAN was criminally charged with:
- -aggravated assault X 2
- -assault with weapon (knife) X 2
- -break and enter
- -theft of cell phone while armed with a knife
ATLOOKAN has outstanding criminal charges of break & enter, as well as theft from 2021
ATLOOKAN cried during her court appearance and wondered why RIVER FISHER was arrested.
A 20 year old KIEONNE NIGEL GRAHAM KWISSIWA
was criminally charged with:
- -aggravated assault X 2
- -assault with weapon (knife) X 2
- -break and enter
- -theft of cell phone while armed with knife
KWISSIWA’S mother phoned into court to try get her little boy out of custody and said his father wants nothing to do with him. KWISSIWA also goes by the surname FISHER
Inside Edition sources indicate that KIEONNE is the son of Pic Mobert Band Chief LOUIS KWISSIWA.
A 22 year old MATTHEW JOHNSON was criminally charged with:
- -aggravated assault X 2
- -assault with weapon (knife) X 2
- -break and enter
- -theft of cell phone while armed with knife
- -breach of release order (no weapons)
JOHNSON has outstanding criminal drug charges.
A 22 year old KORDAK FISHER was criminally charged with:
- -aggravated assault X 2
- -assault with weapon (knife) X 2
- -break and enter
- -theft of cell phone while armed with knife
FISHER has outstanding criminal charges from 2021:
- -theft motor vehicle
- -dangerous driving
- -flight from police
- -mischief
A 33 year old RANDY JEFFREY WESLEY was criminally charged with:
- -aggravated assault X 2
- -assault with weapon (knife) X 2
- -break and enter
- -theft of cell phone while armed with knife
ANDREW SUTHERLAND is criminally charged with:
- -aggravated assault X 2
- -assault with weapon (knife) X 2
- -break and enter
- -theft of cell phone while armed with knife
All arrested individuals are remanded into custody and transported to Thunder Bay with court dates this upcoming week.
INSIDE EDITION sources indicate this may be a drug related gang retaliation type of incident.
INSIDE EDITION sources in Geraldton indicate the group broke into another woman’s home on Main Street while she was home alone with her newborn baby looking for JOEL & THOMAS. More charges are likely to be laid by the OPP
INSIDE EDITION sources also indicate that TBLAZYWATCH & CBC were aware of this violent home invasion in Geraldton but chose not to tell the public.
