MORE FENTANYL DEATHS IN THUNDER BAY

Police Officers need our support to protect our families

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  August 8, 2022  (LSNews)  Fentanyl deaths continue to rise in Thunder Bay. Inside Edition is aware of at least two fentanyl deaths yesterday, Sunday, August 7, 2022, including the one pictured below which occurred in Limbrick last evening around 10 pm.

TBPS Media Relations Coordinator Scott Paradis is very lazy and doesn’t like to tell the truth to the public.

The war on fentanyl continues.

In a TBNewWatch story acting police chief Dan Taddeo. stated:

Thunder Bay has often held the title of the murder capital of Canada with a leading homicide rate of between 5.57 and 7.15 between 2016 and 2020.

Thunder Bay has experienced an increase in violent crime in 2021, with the rate of sexual assaults increasing by 48 percent to a rate of 142 per 100,000 people, the worst rate in 35 urban areas included in the Statistics Canada report.

The robbery rate in the city has increased by 44 percent, second only to Winnipeg.

The Violent Crime Severity Index in Thunder Bay for 2021 was 176, twice the national average.

“When you dig into violent crime and the complexity of violent crime, you have to look at what’s related and what’s related is societal issues, including addiction issues,”

We need a Police Chief that allows his officers to do their jobs and protect our families

Not be Social Works

We hired police to fight crime not be Social Justice Warriors.

We do not want our acting Police Chief to redirect police funding away from fighting crime.

We can not let our Acting police Chief do that in Thunder Bay by Using his PR department to cover up the violence.

We have all seen what happened to the city in the United States where the Defund the police took over

Their goal is to hit 200 FENTANYL DEATHS IN THUNDER BAY this year surpassing last year's goal of 158

This gives them more funding for more:

- Drug Party Rooms (they call Injection Site)

-  more social workers to teach kids in their late teens how to be cool and use needles

- they are not promoting the kids carrying a need pack just in case they end up in friends' houses with drugs. Having a clean needle is important

- Stigmatizing drug use and not doing drugs in not what the cool kids do

 - we can now allow the Social Workers and the Health Agency to take away funding from the police
