THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~~~  July 11, 2022 (LSNews)  Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers responded to a phone call early this morning, Monday July 11,2022 from a mother worried that her son’s apartment had been taken over at 238 May Street South.

Officers arrived at the apartment around 12:30am and had found that a black male had taken over the apartment from the resident.

A 22 year old black male, AARON VELVET of Brampton was criminally charged with:

  • -unlawfully in a dwelling house

VELVET was held in custody at Balmoral Police Station and made a video appearance before Justice of the Peace Jerry Woods this morning, Monday July 11,2022

VELVET told Justice of the Peace Woods that he wants to be released to live at a house at 609 Court Street North in Thunder Bay.

But a quick check of Google Earth shows that to be an apartment building.

VELVET then tells the court that he’ll give his actual address which is 56 Willow Park Drive in Brampton, Ontario.

Because VELVET lives more than 200 kms away, it’s supposed to be a cash deposit bail.

Justice of the Peace Jerry Woods orders VELVET to be released on $300 no deposit bail with conditions:

  • -reside at 56 Willow Park Drive in Brampton
  • -report change of address to TBPS within 24 hours
  • -no contact with victim and not be within 100 meters of 238 May Street South

VELVET is released with a future court date of Friday August 12,2022

Inside Edition sources indicate that VELVET is involved in the drug trade and gang invasion from Southern Ontario. He also goes by the nickname of AV FINESSE.

He is originally from Jamaica but has immigrated to Canada.

As per usual practice, TBPS Media Relations Coordinator Scott Paradis is not telling the public again.

He and his boss, Chris Adams are both former TBLAZYWATCH employees with no policing experience. They just collect taxpayer money to do almost nothing.
