Thunder Bay Strength Athlete succesfully defends title

"Silver Dollar Deadlift World Champion"

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  May 15, 2022 (LSNews)  Thunder Bay Strength Athlete, Ben Thompson ,  successfully defends title of "Silver Dollar Deadlift World Champion" 

The World Deadlifting Counsel held its annual Silver Dollar Deadlift World Championship. The silver dollar deadlift is one of the original tests of strength and has been around since the 1800s. Recently the world record has been held at 1222lb, but in this years event, the world record was broken by 4 athletes. 

Thunder Bay's Ben Thompson lifted 1270lb to set a new open class world record, and hold off the 46 other athletes competing .... to retain his title as "silver dollar deadlift world champion"

The event lasted the month of April and submissions were submitted virtually with strict rules so international athletes did not have to travel due to covid 19.

Federal Crown Attorney Alec Hardiejowskie told the court that SEON-KEUM KIM was NOT the target of the Thunder Bay Police Investigation.
