Cambrian Players Improv Improvathon

#LSN_Arts

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO -  August 31, 2019  (LSN)  Sixteen non-stop hours, one epic day – Cambrian Players Improv is excited to announce their IMPROVATHON: sleep-deprived hilarity for your entertainment! On Saturday, September 28, head to the Cambrian Players Theatre (818 Spring St.) between 8 am and midnight, where intrepid improv-ers will take to the stage for a day of laughs and hilarious games! From dawn 'til dusk, with audience favorites and brand new games, it's a day not to be missed.

For just five bucks at the door, you can come and go all day. Plus, bring along your spare change for the silent auction and concessions. And don't miss special guests throughout the day! Oh, and don't forget an arsenal of great prompts for the performers – they'll be looking for settings, relationships, and lines of dialogue to work into scenes. Braver audience members may even have a chance to participate!

Can't make it that day? An online livestream of the day is also being planned so that you'll be able to join in on the laughs from the comfort of your own home. For more info, check out Cambrian Players Improv on Facebook where you'll find all the details as they are released.

All proceeds will benefit Cambrian Players’ Raise the Roof fund, a fundraising effort to replace the roof on the Heritage Building that Cambrian Players calls home.
