THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO January 15, 2020 - 12:15 (LSN)  Police Media Release States: The Thunder Bay Police Service is charging two accused in a January homicide with First-Degree Murder.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers with the Uniform Patrol Branch were originally responded to a reported break and enter in the 300 block of Syndicate Avenue North just before 3 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020.

DRYDEN, ONTARIO - January 15, 2020  (LSN)  On January 12, 2020 at approximately 1:19 p.m. officers from the Ontario Provincial Police, Dryden Detachment conducted a traffic stop on Highway 17 in Wainwright Township, just West of Dryden.

As a result of the stop, Police seized a large quantity of Canadian Currency.

 Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Thunder Bay Detachment, OPP North West Region Crime Unit and OPP Forensic Identification are continuing their investigation into this death under the direction of Detective Inspector Darryl Sigouin with the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch. The search for his killer continues.

SAULT STE. MARIE, ONTARIO  January 11, 2020  (LSN) On January 9, 2020 around 6 p.m. police responded to a call for service in the area of Caledon Street. Upon arrival officers found a male in critical condition suffering from a gunshot wound. The male, 44 year old John David Jamieson, was transported to hospital, and later died as a result of his injuries.

PORT HURON, MICHIGAN  -  January 9, 2020 (LSN) U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers arrested a man wanted for suspected homicide and arson in North Dakota at the Blue Water Bridge early Thursday morning. CBP Officers arrested the 41-year-old United States citizen without incident early this morning and turned him over to the Port Huron Police Department. Officers seized the vehicle the suspect was driving, which will be turned over to law enforcement officials from North Dakota.
