NIPIGON, ONTARIO ~~  April 18, 2020  (LSN)  The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Nipigon Detachment is requesting the public's assistance in locating a missing woman.

Alyssa TURNBULL, 26 years of age of Gillies Township (Thunder Bay area) was reported missing on April 14, 2020 at approximately 2:50 p.m. She is described as 5'3" (160 cm), 100 lbs (45 kg) with shoulder length blonde hair and blue eyes. Alyssa may have changed her hair colour to purple or red.

Destroys Three Businesses, No Injuries Sustained

GRAND MARAIS, MINNESOTA  ~~~~  April 13, 2020   (LSN)  At 1:19 pm today, Cook County’s 911 Dispatch received a report of a fire in the back of the Crooked Spoon Café located on Wisconsin Street in downtown Grand Marais.

Volunteer Firefighters from the City of Grand Marais, Maple Hill Fire Department, Lutsen Fire Department and Colvill Fire, were needed to battle the blaze which spread to neighboring businesses Picnic & Pine and White Pine North on Wisconsin St, fully engulfing the buildings.

INTERNATIONAL FALLS, MINNESOTA   -  April 9, 2020 (LSN)  U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Field Operations officers at the International Falls Port of Entry targeted several rail containers destined to arrive in Ranier, Minnesota.  CBP officers inspected the rail container and discovered string lights, foam swords, and character pens in violation of intellectual property rights (IPR) regulations.

SAULT STE. MARIE, ONTARIO  ~  April 5, 2020 (LSN)  On April 7, 2020 officers with Patrol Services arrested 27-year-old Anna Chakasim, 42-year-old Donald Collings, 28-year-old Brandon Rowat and 36-year-old Sara Rowlinson for possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

On April 7, 2020 at 4:24 p.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on Pine Street as the vehicle Ms. Rowlinson was driving had an expired validation tag. Ms. Chakasim, Mr. Collings and Mr. Rowat were passengers in the vehicle.
