Deadwolff Rock Thunder Bay on July 8

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  June 23, 2022  (LSNews)  Deadwolff is a New Wave of Heavy Rock n’ Roll three-piece band based out of Toronto, ON. Founded in 2020, Deadwolff is composed of Tommy Wolffe, on bass and vocals, Bobby Deuce, on guitars and backing vocals, Angus Pike on drums.

In late December of 2020, Boonsdale Records released the band’s debut EP digitally. Shortly after, Deadwolff signed with Metal Assault Records, based out of Los Angeles, and released their debut EP on cassette, which sold out quickly.

Their video for the single “Double up” was also released prior to the cassette and can be viewed on several youtube channels.

The concert will have local support from Wrong Odds, Shatterhorn, and the Selfies. 

Vox Popular Media Arts Festival is co-hosting this event to promote its upcoming festival September 8th to the 11th at the Definitely Superior Art Gallery! 

The 18th Annual Vox Popular Media Arts Festival is taking place from September 8th to the 11th in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The event will be held at the Definitely Superior Art Gallery in the old Cumberland Theatre at 115 Cumberland St N, Thunder Bay, ON P7A 4K8 The festival will feature films of all genres from Northwestern Ontario, Canada and Internationally. There will be concerts, performance art, and a visual art exhibition, Q&As and discussions with the artists to share knowledge, ideas, and experiences. Select films and performances will also be available online during and after the festival.

Deadwolff is here to rock Thunder Bay on July 8th at Black Pirates Pub, co-presented by Vox Popular Media Arts Festival.

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~  July 12, 2022 (LSNews)  A 28 year old STEPHEN COLE appeared by video from the Thunder Bay Jail today, Tuesday July 12,2022 for a bail hearing before Justice of the Peace Jerry Woods.

COLE has a criminal record of violence, and a total of 17 breaches of court orders.

Highway Department Begins Removal of Temporary Road Lifts

KOOCHICHING COUNTY, MINNESOTA  ~~~~   July 11, 2022 (LSNews)  The Koochiching County Highway Department today began the process to remove the aggregate lifts temporarily placed on roads due to flooding. The aggregate lifts were installed to maintain access to parts of the community as flood waters rose in May and June. Water levels have now receded enough to safely begin removing the lifts.
