Deadwolff Rock Thunder Bay on July 8

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  June 23, 2022  (LSNews)  Deadwolff is a New Wave of Heavy Rock n’ Roll three-piece band based out of Toronto, ON. Founded in 2020, Deadwolff is composed of Tommy Wolffe, on bass and vocals, Bobby Deuce, on guitars and backing vocals, Angus Pike on drums.

In late December of 2020, Boonsdale Records released the band’s debut EP digitally. Shortly after, Deadwolff signed with Metal Assault Records, based out of Los Angeles, and released their debut EP on cassette, which sold out quickly.

Their video for the single “Double up” was also released prior to the cassette and can be viewed on several youtube channels.

The concert will have local support from Wrong Odds, Shatterhorn, and the Selfies. 

Vox Popular Media Arts Festival is co-hosting this event to promote its upcoming festival September 8th to the 11th at the Definitely Superior Art Gallery! 

The 18th Annual Vox Popular Media Arts Festival is taking place from September 8th to the 11th in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The event will be held at the Definitely Superior Art Gallery in the old Cumberland Theatre at 115 Cumberland St N, Thunder Bay, ON P7A 4K8 The festival will feature films of all genres from Northwestern Ontario, Canada and Internationally. There will be concerts, performance art, and a visual art exhibition, Q&As and discussions with the artists to share knowledge, ideas, and experiences. Select films and performances will also be available online during and after the festival.

Deadwolff is here to rock Thunder Bay on July 8th at Black Pirates Pub, co-presented by Vox Popular Media Arts Festival.

PICTON AVENUE DRUG DEALER ORDERED RELEASED ON $500 NO DEPOSIT BAIL

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~~~   September 8, 2022 (LNews) A 38 year old DANA FLORENCE ANN NOBIS (DOB  May 4, 1984) appeared before Justice of the Peace Tobey Meyer today, Thursday September 8,2022 for a bail hearing. 

Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers were conducting surveillance on the Social Housing Unit of DANA NOBIS at 68 Picton Avenue for weeks and observed large amounts of foot traffic consistent with drug trafficking. They had also received information that a white female, DANA NOBIS & white male, ANTHONY KAPLANIS were dealing drugs from the Social Housing Unit.

Officers arrived around 8pm to investigate and found a topless indigenous female & an indigenous male covered in blood.

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~~  September 8, 2022 (LNews)  Acting Platoon Chief Stephen Vincent of B Platoon reported at approximately 3:00 a single truck was responded to a report of a small fire in a laneway on Syndicate Ave. N.  The first arriving unit on the scene encountered a garage fully involved in flames and called for additional resources.  The two TBFR Pumpers quickly brought the fire under control with two attack lines.  The garage suffered extensive damage and the house suffered light damage as a result of the garage fire.

On September 5, 2022, members of the Greenstone OPP along with Superior North Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a report of an unresponsive infant at a residence in Long Lake #58 First Nation.

KWANDIBENS has a lengthy criminal record of violence & breaching court orders. There are 13 convictions of violence & 9 convictions of breaching court orders.

Officers arrived at 1010 Dawson Road and arrested a familiar female indigenous suspect. TBPS learned she was also on probation.

The female suspect was wanted on three different warrants by Thunder Bay Police, but TBPS Media Relations Coordinator Scott Paradis refused to tell the public again. He only reports on “MISSING” people.
