CBP officers International Falls Port of Entry

INTERNATIONAL FALLS, MINNESOTA ~~  mAY 8, 2020  (LSN)  U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Field Operations officers at the International Falls Port of Entry targeted a rail container destined to arrive in Ranier.  CBP officers inspected the rail container and discovered marker sets in violation of intellectual property rights (IPR) regulations.  CBP seized 5,000 marker sets Tuesday with an estimated manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $115,000 if the goods had been genuine.

PORTAL, NORTH DAKOTA  ~   May 7, 2020  (LSN) U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Field Operations officers at the Portal Port of Entry targeted a rail container destined to arrive in Portal.  CBP officers inspected the rail container and discovered a dress and shoes in violation of intellectual property rights (IPR) regulations.  On April 30, CBP seized counterfeit shoes and a dress with an estimated manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $28,545 if the goods had been genuine.

THUNDER  BAY, ONTARIO   ~~  May 6, 2020 (LSN)  Hardworking Thunder Bay Police arrest 26-year-old Skyler Jay King on 43 new criminal charges all related to child porn. Sources indicate that King is a member of the Gull River 55 Indian Reserve aka Gull Bay.It is reported to be hundreds of victims.

INTERNATIONAL FALLS, MINNESOTA  ~~~   May 6, 2020  (LSN) U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Field Operations officers at the International Falls Port of Entry targeted a rail container destined to arrive in Ranier, Minnesota.  CBP officers inspected the rail container and discovered televisions in violation of intellectual property rights (IPR) regulations.  On May 1, CBP seized 440 televisions with an estimated manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $175,560 if the goods had been genuine.
