Thunder Bay Police Service’s Cyber Crimes Unit

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO March 25, 2020 - 15:50  (LSN)  Police Media Release States: Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service’s Cyber Crimes Unit began an investigation into alleged online activity involving suspected images of child pornography on March 16, 2020.

Police learned the images were uploaded by a local Internet user. As a result of their ongoing investigation, police were able to identify a 24-year-old male suspect.

Police executed a search warrant at a home in the 800 block of Melbourne Road on March 24.

SIOUX LOOKOUT, ONTARIO  ~~ March 25, 2020  (LSN)  Members of the Sioux Lookout Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a string of graffiti tagging incidents that have occurred in the Municipality over the past three days.

Public and private buildings and infrastructure in the downtown area, Third Avenue North, and Fifth Avenue North, have been vandalized with black and/or orange spray paint. Police are looking to speak with an individual wearing a red hoodie and black pants who was in the downtown area around 10:00 pm on March 24, 2020,

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO March 24, 2020 - 12:30 (LSN)  Police Media Release States: The Thunder Bay Police Service continues to investigate the early-morning homicide of Adrian Kadeem DRYSDALE, 28, of Toronto.

Officers with the Uniform Patrol Branch were originally dispatched to a residential address in the 500 block of North May Street just after 2:30 a.m. on Monday, March 23 following reports of a disturbance and an injured male.

When officers arrived they located DRYSDALE, who had suffered serious injuries that appeared consistent with a serious assault.

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO March 23, 2020 - 10:00 (LSN)  Police Media Release States: Thunder Bay Police Service officers with the Uniform Patrol Branch were dispatched to a residential address in the 500 block of North May Street shortly after 2:30 a.m. on Monday, March 23 following reports of a disturbance and an injured male.

When officers arrived they located an adult male with significant injuries consistent with that of a serious assault. Paramedics transported the victim to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for further treatment of those injuries.

Before 3:30 a.m., the male died from his injuries.

Home Invasion Suspects Identified;

SAULT STE. MARIE, ONTARIO  March 11, 2020  (LSN)  On March 3, 2020 two males attended a residence in the 200 block of Wallace Terrace. At that time, they forcefully entered the residence. One of the accused pointed a firearm at a victim demanding money and drugs. The other accused remained in the entrance to the home and struck another victim. The two accused then grabbed a purse and fled the residence.
