INTERNATIONAL FALLS, MINNESOTA,   January 25, 2020  (LSN) U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the International Falls Port of Entry seized $900,000 in counterfeit United States currency Friday that was discovered in a commercial rail shipment originating from China.

SUDBURY, ONTARIO - January 25, 2020  (LSN)  In November of 2019, the Greater Sudbury Police Integrated Crime Team (I.C.T.) working in collaboration with the Ontario Provincial Police Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (O.C.E.B.) commenced multiple investigations intending to disrupt drug trafficking operations entering and operating within the City of Greater Sudbury.

TORONTO, ONTARIO  January 25, 2020  (LSN)  Today, Dr. David Williams, Ontario's Chief Medical Officer of Health, announced Ontario's first presumptive confirmed case of Wuhan novel coronavirus in Toronto.

On Thursday, January 23, 2020, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre admitted a patient brought in by paramedics who presented with fever and respiratory symptoms. The patient was screened, recent travel history to Wuhan, China, was confirmed and the patient was immediately put under isolation. The hospital and paramedic service took all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of staff and other patients.

BOTTINEAU,, NORTH DATOKA  -  January 24, 2020 (LSN) Grand Forks Sector Border Patrol Agents arrest and prosecute Illegal Alien. 

On August 30, 2018, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Bottineau Station agents apprehended Rafael PUEBLA-Zamora for being illegally present in the United States.

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO January 24, 2020 - 15:45 (LSN) Thunder bay Police Service officers were dispatched to a residential address in the 200 block of Amelia Street West just before 11 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23 following reports that people had forced their way into an apartment to deal drugs.

When police arrived, an investigation revealed two individuals had been living and dealing drugs out of an apartment unit without consent. These individuals were preventing tenants from leaving the apartment.

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO January 22, 2020 - 15:30  (LSN)  Police Media Release States: The Thunder Bay Police Service has made an arrest in connection with an ongoing investigation into possession of child pornography.

Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service’s Cyber Crimes Unit on Nov. 3, 2019 began an investigation after information was received that a local Internet user had uploaded files suspected to be child pornography.

An ongoing investigation revealed the suspicious files were consistent with child pornography. Investigators were also able to identify the local Internet user.
