THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~ August 12, 2020  (LSN) The City of Thunder Bay received 54 evacuees Tuesday from Red Lake, in response to a 420-hectare forest fire just outside that town, and is preparing today to receive up to 200 Stage One or vulnerable population evacuees from Eabametoong First Nation. Stage One evacuees include persons with disabilities, seniors, children and pregnant women.

The Director of Communications at TBPS didn’t tell the public that an accused killer was on the loose for 2 days and wanted by police.. Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers arrested a 15 year old J.T. in relation to a Monday morning arson at a unit in Thunder Bay Social Housing at 707 John Street.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers originally attended a residential address in the 700 block of John Street just after midnight on Monday, Aug. 10 following reports of a structural fire.

Firefighters extinguished the shed fire and determined it to be suspicious.

LACARIA has a lengthy criminal record and was recently released from the Central North Correctional Center from his last drug sentence.
