LOCAL MAN ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT ON DRUG DEALING THIEF

LOCAL MAN ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT ON DRUG DEALING THIEF

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~~  April 14, 2021  (LSN)   Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers arrested a wanted 62 year old man this morning, Wednesday April 14,2021 at 7:20am.

A warrant was issued for the arrest of 62 year old BIAGGIO BEN BONAZZA on March 21,2021. But the Director of Communications at TBPS never told the public.

BONAZZA was held at Balmoral Police Station this morning for Bail Court before His Worship, Justice of the Peace Bruce Leaman.

It’s alleged that on March 21,2021 that BONAZZA was upset that 28 year old Charis Demi Bougie had stolen his girlfriend’s purse. It’s further alleged that BONAZZA unlawfully confined her, assaulted her, threatened to kill with a knife. It’s alleged that Bougie had pre-existing wounds that were reopened by the assault.

It’s further alleged that he threatened to kill Charis’s mother 49 year old Charlotte Ann Bougie. Both the mother & daughter have a criminal history involving drugs and theft.

Provincial Crown Attorney Natasha Jerome would not consent to the release BONAZZA

BONAZZA was remanded into custody at the Thunder Bay Jail and has another court appearance tomorrow.

As per usual practice, the Director Of Communications at TBPS has not notified the public.
