WINDSOR STREET GUN & DRUG BUST

LOADED HANDGUN, COCAINE & CASH WERE SEIZED

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~   November 22, 2021 (LSNews) As you may recall, Inside Edition reported on the Thunder Bay Social Housing drug bust last night, Sunday November 21,2021 at Unit 47, 288 Windsor Street.

The tenant in Unit 47 had texted Thunder Bay Housing with a “safe word” His unit had been taken over by drug dealers.

At least a dozen police vehicles were involved and flash bangs were deployed.

The door of the unit was barricaded.

Officers entered the Unit with guns drawn.

There was 15 grams of crack cocaine, a loaded handgun found in the pocket of the youth & cash were seized. Suspects were arrested.

A 16 year old black male Z.D. of Toronto was criminally charged with:

  • -unlawfully in a dwelling house
  • -store firearm in careless manner
  • -possession of firearm while prohibited
  • -possession of restricted firearm (handgun)
  • -alter serial number on handgun
  • -possession of cocaine for purpose of trafficking
  • -possession of proceeds of crime under $5000 (cash)

A 27 year old black male JOEL APPOH of Toronto was criminally charged with:

  • -unlawfully in a dwelling house
  • -possession of proceeds of crime under $5000 (cash)
  • -possession of cocaine for purpose of trafficking

APPOH has a heavy West African accent

A 20 year old black male TAJAE REID of Toronto was criminally charged with:

  • -unlawfully in a dwelling house
  • -possession of cocaine for purpose of trafficking
  • -possession of proceeds of crime under $5000 (cash)
  • -breach of court order (not supposed to be in Thunder Bay

TAJAE REID has been busted in Thunder Bay several times

A 27 year old ANDREA MOONIAS of Thunder Bay was criminally charged with:

  • -breach of probation order
  • -breach of release order
  • -unlawfully in a dwelling house
  • -possession of proceeds of crime
  • -possession of cocaine for purpose of trafficking
  • -fraudulent impersonation
  • -obstruct TBPS Officer by providing false name

MOONIAS was just busted a few weeks ago in Thunder Bay (read story below)

A 20 year old PARIS DAY-BAUSCH of Thunder Bay was arrested and criminally charged with:

  • -unlawfully in a dwelling house
  • -possession of proceeds of crime under $5000 (cash)
  • possession of cocaine for purpose of trafficking

DAY-BAUSCH has outstanding criminal charges of attacking hospital staff. (Read more below)

A 55 year old LORETTA SUTHERLAND of Thunder Bay was criminally charged with:

  • -unlawfully in a dwelling house
  • -possession of cocaine for purpose of trafficking
  • -possession of proceeds of crime

SUTHERLAND was wanted on warrants for theft, fraud & possession of stolen property. But TBPS Media Relations Coordinator Scott Paradis never told the public she was wanted. In fact, he hasn’t even told the public about this drug bust.

ALL THE ACCUSED APPEARED BY PHONE IN BAIL COURT THIS MORNING, MONDAY NOVEMBER 22,2021

Federal Crown Attorney Ron Poirier would not consent to the release of any of these suspects, except ANDREA MOONIAS.

MOONIAS was released on $200 no deposit bail with conditions to reside at Salvation Army on Cumberland Street and not to contact the coaccused. She has a future court date of December 6,2021

Justice of the Peace Anna Gibbon was informed that only men are allowed to stay at the Shelter House. But Gibbon still released anyways.

They were all remanded into custody with future court dates.

TBPS MEDIA RELATIONS COORDINATOR SCOTT PARADIS HASN’T TOLD THE PUBLIC MUCH LATELY. He won’t report human traffickers, robberies, stabbings or drug busts. His buddies at TBLAZYWATCH also remain silent.

LOCAL JUNKIE WAS WANTED FOR ATTACK ON HOSPITAL STAFF

TBPS MEDIA RELATIONS COORDINATOR SCOTT PARADIS FAILED TO TELL THE PUBLIC AGAIN

Hardworking Thunder Bay Police arrested a local woman who was wanted on a couple of warrants yesterday, Thursday November 11,2021

A 20 year old PARIS DAY-BAUSCH was wanted for 2 separate incidents. One involved breaking a homeowners window. The other was for spitting on and punching staff at the Thunder Bay Hospital.

DAY-BAUSCH was held overnight at Balmoral Police Station and appeared by phone in Thunder Bay Bail Court this morning, Friday November 12,2021

DAY-BAUSCH told the court she gets $1200 monthly on ODSP, but is currently homeless.

Justice of the Peace Jerry Woods ordered her released on $400 no deposit bail.

She has a future court in December.

TBPS Media Relations Coordinator Scott Paradis has not told the public about the attack on hospital staff. He doesn’t seem to care if they get harmed.
