Province Moves to Step One of Reopening on Friday

Thunder Bay District Health Unit Annonced

HUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~~~  June 10, 2021  (LSN)   The Government of Ontario has announced that the province will be moving to Step One of its Roadmap to Reopen starting at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, June 11, 2021. This applies to the entire Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) catchment area.

The Roadmap is a three-step plan to safely and carefully reopen the province and gradually lift public health measures based on province-wide vaccination rates and improvements in key public health and health care indicators.

Step One of the Roadmap focuses on resumption of more outdoor activities with smaller groups where transmission is lower. Limited indoor settings are also permitted to reopen, with restrictions in place.

Step One of the Roadmap includes, but is not limited to:
Outdoor social gatherings for up to 10 people
 Outdoor dining for up to 4 people per table
 Essential retail capacity at 25%
 Non-essential retail at 15%
 Outdoor religious services, rites and ceremonies with capacity limited to permit physical distancing of 2 metres
 Outdoor sports, fitness and personal training up to 10 people
 Day camps
 Campsites and campgrounds
 Overnight camping at Ontario Parks
 Outdoor horse racing and motor speedways
 Outdoor pools and wading pools

The Province plans to remain in Step One of reopening for at least 21 days to evaluate the impacts of the move. Public health and workplace safety measures will continue to apply in Step One, including maintaining physical distance, capacity limits, and wearing face coverings in indoor spaces.

Studio bounce teaches kangoo classes and is run by Tanya Beswetherick and Stephanie Almgren. Outdoor classes will be taking place at McGregor rec centre on the weekends.....weather permitting of course. Kangoo is a rebound aerobics exercise that is not only fun but burns up to 25% more calories than any other exercise.

Classes are at 10am (in the summer we do 9am classes) and just contact us through our FB page....Studio bounce rebound aerobics
