BIG SURPRISE: BOTH WERE JUST ARRESTED ON SAME CHARGES IN BARRIE ON APRIL 21,2020
Late last evening, Thursday, May 7, 2020 the hardworking Thunder Bay OPP busted a couple of drug dealers from Southern Ontario.
They each face 3 new criminal charges:
-possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking,
-possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
- proceeds (cash) of crime
A 32-year-old VITO BAILEY-RICKETTS of Mississauga and an 18-year-old VICTORIA MARYANN DITTMER of Burlington appeared in a Thunder Bay Bail Court this morning before Justice of the Peace Anna Gibbon.
Federal Crown Ron Poirier has no appetite to release drug dealers. He’s not consenting to release these 2 dealers, especially since they were arrested recently for the same thing.
VITO BAILEY-RICKETTS is heading to the Thunder Bay Jail. His next court appearance is Monday, May 14, 2020
VICTORIA MARYANN DITTMER is heading to the Thunder Bay Correctional Center. Her next court appearance is Monday, May 14, 2020

(Barrie, ON) - The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested 3 people for drug trafficking on Highway 400 near Duckworth Street.
On Tuesday April 21, 2020 members of the Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) became involved in a drug investigation. As a result of that investigation a vehicle stop was conducted on Highway 400 between Duckworth and Bayfield Street, at approximately 4:20 pm.
Members of the Orillia CSCU, Orillia and Aurora OPP arrested the occupants of the vehicle.
During the search of the vehicle police located suspected cocaine, crack cocaine, cash and other items consistent with drug trafficking.
Police arrested and charged VITO BAILEY-RICKETTS, age 32, of Mississauga and VICTORIA DITTMER, age 18, of Burlington with:
Two counts of, Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to Section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
Two counts of, Possession of a Schedule I Substance contrary to Section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act; and
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime contrary to Section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code.
The suspects were released on a Form 10 Undertaking and set to appear next on September 29, 2020 at the Ontario Court of Justice, Orillia.
Police also arrested and charged a 17-year-old youth from Toronto with:
Two counts of, Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to Section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
Two counts of, Possession of a Schedule I Substance contrary to Section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act; and
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime contrary to Section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code.
The youth was released on a form 10 Undertaking and set to appear next on September 09, 2020, at the Ontario Youth Court of Justice, Orillia.
