SUDBURY, ONTARIO ~~~~ Augustst 12, 2020 (LSN) Greater Sudbury Police Service received a call around 9:15 p.m. on August 10, 2020 from Fire Services after Firefighters responded to a structure fire on the property of a restaurant on Regent Street. Firefighters extinguished the shed fire and determined it to be suspicious.
Officers arrived on scene and initiated an investigation into the incident.

ust before 8:00 a.m. this morning, Wednesday, August 12, 2020, Detectives from our Criminal Investigation Division with the assistance of Patrol Officers located and arrested the man believed to be responsible for the fire.
The 44 year old man has been charged with Break and Enter and Arson – Damage to Property.
He was also wanted on an outstanding Arrest Warrant for Theft of Motor Vehicle, Break and Enter x2 and Theft of Credit Card for an incident that took place in February. He will attend Bail Court today to answer to the charges.
