LONGLAC BREAK & ENTER SUSPECT ARRESTED

LONGLAC, ONTARIO ~~~~~  November 21, 2020 (LSN)   Hardworking Greenstone OPP Officers responded to a break & enter early this morning, Saturday November 21,2020 in the 100 block of Hillcrest Road in Longlac, Ontario. 

A 27 year old KATHLEEN STEPHENSON of Longlac was arrested and criminally charged with:

  • -unlawful possession of stolen property under $5000
  • -possession of break & enter tools 

OPP retrieved 2 stolen chainsaws, a laser alignment device, JVC car radio, house keys and other items. 

KATHLEEN STEPHENSON allegedly had a drill, drill bits, allen keys and a screwdriver in her possession. 

STEPHENSON has several outstanding criminal charges. She was brought to the Greenstone OPP detachment and appeared by phone in Thunder Bay Bail Court before Her Worship, Justice of the Peace Denette Ellard. 

Provincial Crown Attorney Heather Bracken would not consent to the release of KATHLEEN STEPHENSON and she is being transported to the Thunder Bay Correctional Center. 

Her next court appearance is Tuesday November 24,2020
