GUNMAN STILL ON THE LOOSE

GUNMAN STILL ON THE LOOSE

HARDWORKING TBPS OFFICERS DRAW GUNS ON KNIFE WIELDING MAN IN PARK.

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~~   June 10, 2021  (LSN)  CAUCASIAN MALE IN LATE 50’S DRIVING RED GMC ENVOY WITH LONG BLACK HANDGUN GUN STILL AT LARGE.

Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers were busy yesterday afternoon, Wednesday, June 9,2021. A call came in at 4:37pm about a Caucasian man driving a red GMC Envoy pointing a long black handgun at a passerby in the Court & Ambrose Street area.

Officers responded quickly, but did not find the red GMC Envoy.

Officers did find a witness to the incident near the Lot 66 restaurant on Court Street and were interviewing him when they were approached by a 61 year old Caucasian male who told TBPS Officers to “Go Fuck Yourselves”.

Officers ignored the man and continued the investigation into the gunman in the red GMC Envoy.

A call came over police radio that there was a man in nearby Wilson Park waving a large knife wildly.

The investigating TBPS Officers proceeded on foot to Wilson Park and spotted the knife wielding suspect talking to some young children in the park.

As the Officers approached the man pulled out a 14” knife and waved it at Officers.

Officers drew their firearms at the suspect and demanded he drop the knife.

The suspect threw the knife in the air and it landed on a park bench. He was handcuffed and arrested.

A 61 year old MICHEL PRIMEAU was criminally charged with:

  • -carrying a concealed weapon

PRIMEAU spent the night in custody at Balmoral Police Station and appeared by video in Thunder Bay Bail Court today, Thursday June 10,2021 before His Worship, Justice Of The Peace Bruce Leaman.

PRIMEAU has a lengthy criminal record dating back to 1980. He has been convicted in several provinces. He has Thunder Bay convictions from 2004.

Provincial Crown Attorney Stella Vallelunga would not consent to the release of PRIMEAU. He was remanded into custody at the Thunder Bay Jail.

The gunman in the red GMC ENNVOY remains at large.

And as per usual practice, the Director Of Communications At TBPS is not telling the public about a gunman at large of a knife carrying man in a park with children. Local taxpayer subsidized media  are also not telling the public.

DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS AT TBPS IS NOT TELLING THE PUBLIC AGAIN
