It is reported that more people have died from Overdose than COVID
THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~~ February 22, 2021 (LSN) A 43-year-old KELLY JOSEPH SIMON LACARIA was found dead by hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers after an intravenous drug overdose on the afternoon of Friday, February 19, 2021.
LACARIA has a lengthy criminal record of violence and drugs in Thunder Bay. He has been the subject of several warrants for his arrest and previously featured on the now defunct Wanted Wednesday program. The Director of Communications at TBPS cancelled the program due to his coronvirus fears.
LACARIA who also goes by the nickname “LUCKY” was on the tail end of an eight month house arrest order for having an illegal taser and crack cocaine.
LACARIA was under a court order not to possess drugs at the time of his death. He wasn’t following court orders.
Currently, an average of 2-3 people are dying daily from drug overdoses in Thunder Bay. Local health officials have not told the public about all these deaths, preferring to focus on the Covid infections. They continue to enable the junkie lifestyle and criminal elements by providing the various apparatus’ to continue their drug use.
Illegal drug use continues to plague our city and create a lot of spin-off crime. Thunder Bay City Council has done little to address this overdose pandemic in the city. More people have died of overdose than Covid 19
