BREAK & ENTER INVESTIGATION  LEADS TO  QUARTER POUND OF FENTANYL,THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN CASH

THUNDER BAY, OTNARIO  ~~~~~~~  August 1, 2021 (LSNews)  Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers responded to an apartment at Thunder Bay Social Housing early this morning, Sunday August 1,2021 regarding a damaged door and possible break & enter.

TBPS Officer found 4 people inside the apartment at 122 Cumberland Street South. A black male was hiding on the balcony who had over $5000 cash in his possession.

A male inside tried hiding a bag containing 125 gram of fentanyl in his underwear while TBPS Officer were present.

Another male had 14 grams of crack cocaine.

All 4 people were held in custody at Balmoral Police Station for the rest of the morning and appeared in Bail Court before Her Worship, Justice of the Peace Jennifer Neil.

A 20 year old AUIHA WILSON of Kitchener, Ont was criminally charged with:

  • -possession of cocaine for purpose of trafficking
  • -possession of fentanyl for purpose of trafficking
  • -possession of proceeds of crime (cash over $5000)
  • A 25 year old SPIRIA MARSHALLA KWANDIBENS was criminally charged with:
  • -possession of cocaine for purpose of trafficking
  • -possession of fentanyl for purpose of trafficking
  • -possession of proceeds of crime (cash over $5000)

A 34 year old RICKY SAKAKEESIC of Cat Lake was criminally charged with:

  • -possession of cocaine for purpose of trafficking
  • -possession of fentanyl for purpose of trafficking
  • -possession of proceeds of crime (cash over $5000)
  • -breach of probation order October 16,2020
  • -breach of probation order January 21,2021

A 35 year old ANDREW NICHOLAS PECK DINGWELL was criminally charged with:

  • -possession of cocaine for purpose of trafficking
  • -possession of fentanyl for purpose of trafficking
  • -possession of proceeds of crime (cash over $5000)
  • -obstruct TBPS Officer by trying to hide 125 grams of fentanyl in his underwear

Federal Crown Attorney Justin McConnell tells the court that he will only consent to the release of SPIRIA MARSHALLA KWANDIBENS because she has no criminal record. She is released on a $500 no deposit release order. Her next court appearance is September 7,2021

All the men are being remanded into custody at the Thunder Bay Jail and have another court appearance on Thursday August 5,2021

As per usual practice, the Director of Communications at TBPS is not telling the public again. Drug dealers with thousands of dollars in cash and a quarter pound of fentanyl just isn’t worth his time to tell the public. He simply is too incompetent to do his job properly. TBPS Police Chief Sylvie Hauth does nothing to correct this. Mayor Bill Mauro and the Police Services Board also do nothing to rectify the job performance of the inept Director

TBLAZYWATCH & CBC are also aware of this drug bust at 122 Cumberland Street South and aren’t saying anything. They simply can’t be trusted
