ARREST MADE IN ASSAULT ON HOMELESS MAN

ARREST MADE IN ASSAULT ON HOMELESS MAN

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~~~  April 8, 2021  (LSN)  Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers have arrested a violent offender who was caught on a viral video assaulting a homeless man.

EVAN WILLIAM TRABBISH-FINLAYSON was arrested early this morning, Thursday April 8,2021 by TBPS Officers after a swift & thorough investigation. FINLAYSON turned himself in at the Thunder Bay Police Station.

FINLAYSON is criminally charged with assault of Ronald Albert Junior Towegeshig.

FINLAYSON appeared by video in Thunder Bay Bail Court before His Worship, Justice Of The Peace Bruce Leaman.

Provincial Crown Attorney Rob Kozak is not consenting to the release of FINLAYSON. He has concerns that FINLAYSON will commit further offences if released and the public would be outraged by his release. Those are secondary and tertiary grounds.

It’s alleged that EVAN TRABBISH-FINLAYSON assaulted a homeless man on Sunday April 4,2021 over a request for cigarettes.

EVAN TRABBISH-FINLAYSON is being held in custody and will be transported to the Thunder Bay Jail.

He has a bail hearing scheduled for Friday April 9,2021 at 2:15pm.

It is not known yet, if his mommy who loves him, will be proposing herself as a surety.

This is a developing story and will be updated shortly.

As per usual practice, the Director Of Communications at TBPS has not notified the public about this.

HARDWORKING THUNDER POLICE MAKE ARREST IN HOTEL DAMAGE CALL

AND THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS AT TBPS DIDN’T TELL THE PUBLIC AGAIN.

Last night, Monday August 24,2020 hardworking Thunder Bay Police responded to a mischief damage call at the Prince Arthur Hotel on Cumberland Street.

Officers responded to the damaged gate call to investigate and arrested 19 year old EVAN TRABBISH-FINLAYSON of Thunder Bay.

TRABBISH-FINLAYSON was out on surety release bail at the time with his mother & father as sureties. He has a curfew of 9pm to 7am.

He has several outstanding charges of violence including assault & assault with a weapon with several breaches. The Director of Communications at TBPS never told the taxpayers about that either. He’s a real lazy Director.

It’s alleged that TRABBISH-FINLAYSON initially gave hardworking TBPS Officers a false name.

TRABBISH-FINLAYSON’S new criminal charges are:

-mischief under $5000

-obstruct police by providing a false name

-fail to comply with bail curfew of 9pm to 7am.

TRABBISH-FINLAYSON was held overnight at the Balmoral Police Station and appeared by video before His Worship, Justice of the Peace Marcel Donio this morning, Tuesday August 25,2020.

TRABBISH-FINLAYSON’S mother Elaina Trabbish phoned into court to try get her son out of jail. She also happens to be his surety from his previous release.

Provincial Crown Attorney Attorney Katrina Van Kessel is not consenting to the release of TRABBISH-FINLAYSON. He’s already on a surety release and still breaching.

TRABBISH-FINLAYSON is remanded into custody and is headed to the Thunder Bay Jail.

His Mommy cries out “I LOVE YOU SON” as the appearance ends.

TRABBISH-FINLAYSON has another court appearance tomorrow where his lawyer George Joseph will try yet again to get him out of custody.

And it’s just another good job by TBPS Officers and another massive failure for the Director of Communications at TBPS
