peaceful demonstration to restore the rights and freedoms TBay May 24th

THUNDER BAY,  ONTARIO  ~~~~~~  May 19, 2022 (LSNews)  You’re invited to a Potluck Meet and Greet for James and his team. Be part of this historic moment by joining us on 6:30pm Tuesday, May 24th at the Murillo Community Center, 4569 Oliver Rd.  For more information, please email [email protected]

James Topp, a 28-year veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, is marching 4,293 KMs across Canada in a peaceful demonstration to restore the rights and freedoms of all Canadians.

#CanadaMarches began Feb 20, 2022 at the Terry Fox Statue in Vancouver BC and they are expected to arrive at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Ottawa, late June 2022.  To learn more about his journey, and to track his minute by minute walk location, visit CanadaMarches.ca

James, his team and supporters are on their 88th day into the roughly 130-day march. They average 40 to 50 km’s a day as they continue to head east toward the nation’s capital. The public support has been overwhelming: warm meals, supplies, fuel cards and accommodations are being extended nightly by a growing community. Many, who simply feel they cannot do enough, in the truly Canadian tradition, contribute in any and every way they can.

Many people have also joined James along his walking journey. A shuttle has been organized for Friday thru the weekend to bring you from the spot you will leave your vehicle, to get you up the road joining James, to then be able to walk back to your vehicle.
