THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~~ December 25, 2020 (LSN) The City will once again recycle natural trees from Dec. 26 - Jan. 12, grinding the trees into wood chips to be added to the compost pile at the City’s Solid Waste & Recycling Facility. Compost is given away each spring to beautify residents' lawns and flower gardens.

This includes extending in-person learning until January 25, 2021 for elementary school students in the 27 Southern Ontario public health unit regions and extending the shutdown in Northern Ontario for another 14 days, aligning with the shutdown period in Southern Ontario.
