RING IN 2020 AT FORT WILLIAM HISTORICAL PARK

NEW YEAR’S EVE FAMILY FROLIC

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO - December 23, 2019 (LSN)   Ring in 2020 at Fort William Historical Park’s (FWHP) New Year’s Eve Family Frolic on December 31st from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.   
New Year’s Eve Family Frolic will feature exhilarating outdoor activities such as snowshoeing, axe throwing, skating and tubing, and fun indoor activities including the games gallery and science station glow room Visitors will also enjoy live entertainment including indoor musical performances and one-of-a-kind, spectacular outdoor fire and light performances. There will also be exciting contests for youth and adults to win great prizes, a scavenger hunt, and the Resolution Wall for visitors to share their goals for 2020. We’ll ring in the New Year with a countdown and massive choreographed fireworks show at a family-friendly time of 10:00pm! 
 
New Year’s Eve Family Frolic tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students, seniors and youth, and children 5 and under are FREE. The Cantine Restaurant will also be open serving a variety of heritage and contemporary menu offerings.  
 
“Fort William Historical Park is thrilled to ring in 2020 with plenty of family-friendly outdoor and indoor activities during New Year’s Eve Family Frolic,” states Sergio Buonocore, FWHP’s General Manager. “We look forward to celebrating with our visitors who will also enjoy an entertaining fireworks show.”
