TBSO Announces 2022/23 Welcome Back Pricing

Tickets for the 2022/23 season go on sale August 20th

THUNDER  BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  August 9, 2022 (LSNews)  The Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra announced their 62nd season line-up on Thursday, August 4th, 2022. As part of their new season package, they are offering some truly incredible ticket pricing.

With the support of our community, sponsors, and donors, for the past two years, the TBSO has been streaming concerts and providing digital content at no cost to audiences. They are proud to have not only maintained but deepened connections to our community while providing outstanding entertainment during a difficult time.

As a thank you for the tremendous support they have received, and in recognition of the ongoing challenges we face as a community, for the 2022/23 season, the TBSO will offer Welcome Back Pricing. With $25 tickets for all of their Masterworks, Hilldale Classics, and Family shows, and free tickets to children under 14, the TBSO hopes to make music even more accessible to everyone in our city and region. Linda Penner, President of the Board of the TBSO said, “The TBSO is elated to be able to offer this rare opportunity for music lovers of all ages, to experience the finest music in our region. We are particularly pleased to be able to encourage families to share these experiences together.”

    COOK COUNTY, MINNESOTA  ~~~~~sEPEMBER 16, 2022 (LSNews)  The North Shore Health Care Foundation (NSHCF) will be awarding its final round of 2022 grant funds this fall. Applications for Foundation funding for projects that work toward a healthy community for all are due Saturday, Oct. 1 by 4 pm.

    The Foundation works to address gaps in health care and community health-related needs in Cook County. A total of $34,000 has been budgeted for in the 2022 NSHCF budget to help fund community organizations and programs that contribute to equitable health care and healthy living in Cook County this year, through the semi-annual community grant program.

MPP Vaugeois also congratulated the TBSO on the work its done since receiving a $250,000 Community Building Fund grant from the Government of Ontario and the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) in 2021.
