Great Benjamins Circus is coming to GFL Memorial Gardens

SAULT STE MARIE, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  July 28, 2022 (LSNews)  The Great Benjamins Circus is happy to announce it is coming to GFL Memorial Gardens in Sault Ste. Marie on Saturday August 13, 2022!  

Get ready to be thrilled and amazed by the globe of death, crazy motorcycles, trapeze artists, clowns, jugglers, acrobats and plenty more. Enjoy the afternoon show at 2 pm or the evening show at 7 pm. 

John Davenport is a third-generation circus performer and along with his brother Jairo have created the “Great Benjamins Circus”. A traditional circus that offers amazing acts of international quality while being true to the traditional circus roots. Great Benjamins Circus and its caravans travel to the four corners of North America; from Florida to California, Alaska to Newfoundland / Labrador.

We offer a rich and sincere circus experience. Much more than an entertainment organization, we present ourselves as being a symbol of respect and education towards all cultures. We are an ambassador of multiculturalism and have a great appreciation for performance art. Join our family for 90 minutes of entertainment and experience 90 minutes of energy, beauty, and excitement.

Tickets are on sale Friday, July 29 at 10 am.

  • First 100 (first 100 tickets) - $15 
  • Ringside VIP (80 tickets available) - $40 
  • Family Pass (2 adults & 2 children – 50 available) - $70 
  • Adult - $35 
  • Child (3-12 years of age) - $25 
  • Children under 3 are free 
  •  *plus applicable fees 

 The First 100, Ringside VIP, and Family Pass tickets are only available prior to show date so get them before they sell out!

    COOK COUNTY, MINNESOTA  ~~~~~sEPEMBER 16, 2022 (LSNews)  The North Shore Health Care Foundation (NSHCF) will be awarding its final round of 2022 grant funds this fall. Applications for Foundation funding for projects that work toward a healthy community for all are due Saturday, Oct. 1 by 4 pm.

    The Foundation works to address gaps in health care and community health-related needs in Cook County. A total of $34,000 has been budgeted for in the 2022 NSHCF budget to help fund community organizations and programs that contribute to equitable health care and healthy living in Cook County this year, through the semi-annual community grant program.
